What we stand for

Six things we would change in Uttlesford

All our priorities

They come from our manifestos for the district and the county.

  1. Homes people can afford

A better deal for tenants, more social and affordable housing, and homes that are cheap to heat.

  2. Clean rivers and more wildlife

Cleaner rivers, healthier soils, more trees and better protection for the wild places we already have.

  3. Buses, pavements and safer streets

Responsive, linked-up public transport, pavements and roads in good repair, and streets that are safe to walk and cycle.

  4. Clean energy and local jobs

Cheap community energy for local people, and new green jobs and businesses.

  5. Schools and support for every child

Better support for children with special educational needs and their parents, and protection for village schools.

  6. Local climate action

Urgent action on the climate crisis, working with businesses, farms, schools and communities across Uttlesford.
